Sprichst du Deutsch?
Amanda, my ability with languages is typical to my ability with all things: broad and shallow :). Wherever I go I can usually get by after a week or so, and feel communicative after a month. Then I forget everything.

Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch. Ich haette gern zu mehr Deutsch sprechen, aber mein Eignung mit Sprachen ist nicht so gut. :) But I am similar, I can get by in most places I travel. I've forgotten a fair amount of German though. Lame...considering I lived there for a semester to learn it.
